Hi and thanks for stopping by the Oludan Fashion blog.
One thing is sure: without customers, there is no Oludan. Our African print Oludan customers are the reason behind our success and growth and it is only fair that we show them our appreciation in any form and fashion. You cannot imagine how tickled and excited we get when any time a customer leaves us a good review and a picture of their outfit. This truly encourages and motivates us to strive for the best.
So, this post is about customer appreciation. We are featuring some of our many wonderful customers and how they wore their Oludan African print purchase. Enjoy and let us know what you think.
This is one of our first customers when we initially opened Oludan on Etsy. She is a military personnel stationed in Italy. We was the first person to buy from us internationally. She ordered our yellow and turquoise dashiki maxi skirt to wear to her niece’s graduation. We love the way she combined her skirt with a tight fitting white shirt.
Our customer Afua Richardson, best known for her comic book illustration for Marvel’s World of Wakanda, her comic, Genius, with writers Marc Bernardin and Adam Freeman made our day the day she messaged us for a dress to wear. She bought this lovely best selling brown, yellow and blue African print dress and asked to add a halter look to the top part of it. She wore her dress in a marvelous way to the 2016 Marvel convention. Love, love the yellow sash and broach on her strap. So unique.
Our jaws dropped the minute we laid eyes on this picture. During her purchase, Ashley mentioned she was going to Banff National Park, Alberta, and promised to take an amazing picture with her purchase. We did not expect what she came back with. Oh my goodness!!! She wore this skirt for her 5th wedding anniversary celebration with her husband in Canada. Talk of a perfect picture.
This is another look that blew us away. She proved to us and the world that our skirt can be worn in so many ways. Her white shirt emphasized the orange and blue colors of her skirt. Her blue scarf complimented the skirt and her bracelet completed the look. Simply dazzling!
For a night out, this lovely customer of ours rocked her pink and green dashiki maxi skirt with an off-shoulder white blouse. Lovely long pink earrings complimented her less-is-more look.
For her birthday shoot, Celeste rocked her African Print maxi dress with a denim jacket. What a lovely combination!
Casey vacationed in Florida with one of our Oludan off shoulder tops. With a black pencil skirt and sandals, she rocked her top with so much style.
Another show stopper. This beautiful mom and daughter brought this African print fabric to life. Let us start with the mom. Her hairdo speaks volumes. The head ornament to compliment it is a statement on it’s own. Short black jacket, neckpiece and a black belt contribute to making this a fabulous look. Her daughter looks good in her midi skirt with a matching bowtie and black sandals. We love, love, this mother and daughter combination.
This picture of our customer’s adorable angels made our day. Their mother ordered a custom outfit for them for her graduation. They not only wore their outfits beautifully but owned it so well. The little girl accessorized her dress with a necklace, beautiful blue sandals and earrings. Her cool, calm and collected brother looks so cute in his vest and bowtie. Nice looking kids.
Lura wanted to wear an African print skirt during her missionary trip to Uganda. We were more than delighted to sell this one to her. She was kind enough to share this picture taken in Uganda. We love the way she wore her skirt with so much simplicity. Less is truly more.
This picture speaks volumes. It depicts an the resilience and power of a confident woman. Although we do not know our customer personally, something about this picture paints a remarkable impression of her. She bought this purple and turquoise dashiki maxi skirt and wore it during a trip to Savannah, Georgia. Such a stunning picture!
Our beautiful customer wore this African print Oludan bestseller maxi dress to the 2017 BET Awards. Notice the way she makes the colors pop with her yellow clutch. The fit on her is incredible. We are sure she got so many compliments.
When our customer Samantha contacted us for dresses for her bridesmaids, we were up for the challenge because she and her bridesmaids are many states away. All she did was send us their names and measurements and the rest is what you see in this glorious picture taken on her wedding day. Such a harmonious story to write home about! Heartfelt congratulations Samantha Ogbeifun!
A rather happy customer. The yellow compliments her beautiful skin and smile.
Finally, these four choristers from New York bought their skirts for a performance in church. They look marvelous! There is definitely strength in unity and a colorful collaboration.
This brings us to the end of our first ever 15 customer picks. Watch out for more posts like this and thank you so much for reading.
